NC REALTORS® Housing Foundation Donates $1,000 to CTE Students
The Career and Technical Education department at Alexander Central High School received $1,000 from the NC REALTORS® Housing Foundation to help pay for travel when students go to SkillsUSA competitions. The students show their skills in carpentry, drafting, electrical wiring, and more at the contests. SkillsUSA is an organization to get students career ready.
The NC REALTORS® Housing Foundation is a non-profit group that supports education, housing opportunities, and disaster relief.
The foundation and the students collaborated on a Habitat home in Alexander County last spring.
